We played a hard-fought game against the NI Tridents last night in Belfast!
Final score: 5 Tridents – 3 Clovers
In a very exciting match the Clovers came out strong taking the lead in the first period with a quick goal from winger Chris Wheeler. However In the second and third, despite goals from Morgan Kan and another form Chris Wheeler, the Tridents fought back to stretch the win to 5 – 3.
This was a debut game for many of the new Clovers players including, our games top scorer Chris Wheeler, Amanda Sydney, Josh Davidson, Gary Egan, Paul Kennedy & Deirdre Fitzgerald.
This game was the first of 2 tests as part of the preparation for the Clovers travelling to Strasbourg, France on the 7th May 2015 for the annual Strasbourg tournament. We will be issuing more news about this as the time draws closer.
