Saturday night saw Przemylaw “Butters” Nowak take to the ice for the last time with the Clovers, while the result didn’t go our way his enthusiasm and effort optimise the spirit of the club and the reason he fit in so well. Butters came to the club back in late 2015 when a chance meeting between himself and Maddog McNally at a tire fitting centre lead to him joining the team and he’s never looked back since.
We’ll miss his unique accent, relenting eagerness to play and the positivity he brings to the changing room before and after a game.
We wish him the very best of luck on his new start in the U.K and all the best in the future.
