The NI Prowlers played host to the Celtic Clovers last night in a nail biting matchup! Both teams were showing their support for the Green Ribbon Mental Health Awareness Drive in a match sanctioned by both the Irish Ice Hockey Association and Ice Hockey UK.
The Prowlers were the strong favourites from the start, proving their fearless reputation, but the Clovers managed to limit them to 1 goal to 0 at the end of the first. The following periods saw the Prowlers push to extend the lead but with strong Clovers defensive play and an outstanding game from goalie Adam Pepper the Clovers managed to hold them to a 5-3 win.
